Empower your veterinary team with life-saving skills. PulseCheck offers tailored CPR training programs across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North Hertfordshire, equipping Veterinary staff with vital techniques for emergency situations.

At PulseCheck, we come directly to your practice to deliver Basic and Advanced Life Support training. We use evidence based guidelines from the RECOVER Initiative, covering both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

By the end of your session, your team will be able to confidently run, perform and reflect on a crash call scenario. So, whether you're a smaller team, less exposed to that gut wrenching crash call situation, or a large team who are exposed regularly, and just want to update and refresh your skills and knowledge - we are here for you!

PulseCheck Veterinary CPR Training

Our Story

We've all been there right? That awful moment when someone yells "CRASH!", your adrenaline pumps, you start to tremble and you scramble to the scene to find an unresponsive patient in cardiac arrest. You know you need to help - but where do you start? Do you do what I did on my very first crash call and run to get a stethoscope? Do you reach straight for the adrenaline? Who's doing what? Who's leading us? When do I give the drugs? What trace is that on the ECG? And before you know it, there's a lot of people, but nothing feels co-ordinated. You're not working like the team you know you're capable of.  Then the call is made to stop. You leave feeling deflated, questioning everything. Wondering if you really did do everything you could. Would the outcome have been different if the team were upskilled, knew their dedicated roles and improved their communication? Were our compressions good enough? Did we do things in the right order, give the right drugs and doses at the right time? Maybe the outcome would have been different - but then again maybe not. But at least you could go home safe in the knowledge that your team were ace in that situation, knowing that if that were your pet, you really did know they did everything they could.

That situation is exactly why I've set up PulseCheck Veterinary CPR Training. I never want any team member to walk away from that scenario feeling that way. I am passionate about training teams to work together to deliver evidence based CPR, teaching the theoretical knowledge and running practical simulations on a mannequin to home in those potentially life saving skills. And maybe - just maybe, even if one life can be saved, or you can come home safe in the knowledge you really did everything you could, then my work is done. So whether you're a Vet, RVN, SVN, PCA, ACA,  or administrative staff, this training is for you!
